📋 Description

• Prepare, monitor, and analyze annual operating, capital, and special project budgets • Develop justifications for budget requests and track financial performance • Produce monthly variance and expense reports, investigating unusual variances and recommending solutions • Collaborate with senior management to support financial planning and forecasting activities • Deliver analytical support for new programs, grants, compliance, and strategic planning initiatives • Create and interpret reports on trends, utilization, and staffing metrics • Independently manage small to medium-sized projects, including financial and operational analysis • Represent the department in meetings, presenting financial insights and recommendations • Maintain proficiency across financial systems, ensuring accuracy and integrity of postings and reports

🎯 Requirements

• 2-4 years of Financial, budget, or accounting experience • Strong background in financial reporting, analysis, and variance management • Experience with advanced Excel functions; knowledge of MSK systems such as Cognos preferred • Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and communicate effectively with stakeholders
