📋 Description

• Act as the pre-award information consultant for researchers • Analyze sponsor guidelines • Develop and review budgets for grant applications • Review agency application forms and administrative documents • Ensure timely submission of proposals to sponsor agencies • Maintain institutional compliance with federal, state, and other applicable regulations, policies, and procedures • Review and interpret funding opportunity announcements • Collaborate with team members and external stakeholders to ensure successful grant management • Support pre-award and non-financial post-award administration of research grants and contracts • Help investigators navigate sponsor requirements and develop competitive proposals

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in research administration, grants management, or a related field • Experience preferably within an academic, healthcare, or research environment • Experience supporting the pre-award grant lifecycle, including proposal development, budget preparation, and sponsor submissions • Experience reviewing and interpreting funding opportunity announcements, sponsor guidelines, and regulatory requirements • Strong organizational and project management skills • Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines • Certified Research Administrator (CRA) license is preferred • Ability to develop and complete projects independently with minimal direction • In-depth knowledge of the pre-award grant submission process is highly preferred • Familiarity with NIH applications, policy regulations, and web-based submission software such as Huron and Cayuse is preferred
