📋 Description

• Design and manage HVAC systems and facility projects. • Plan, organize, and execute facility projects. • Travel to projects throughout the US, including the Hawaiian Islands, and Caribbean to provide project management services. • Determine project needs, constraints, and responsibilities to meet customer requirements. • Collect data to assemble project scope. • Prepare MEP assessments highlighting project scope and estimated budget. • Coordinate project-specific engineering when required. • Develop scopes of work and prepare RFPs for contractors. • Develop replacement equipment specifications and prepare RFQs for vendors. • Prepare bid comparisons for RFPs and RFQs. • Prepare and issue equipment purchase orders. • Prepare and administer project contracts and subcontracts. • Collect certificates of insurance, lien waivers, and supporting documentation. • Coordinate and maintain project schedules. • Review and approve project invoices. • Visit projects during construction at major milestones and prepare site visit reports. • Provide complete closeout documentation and warranty coverage. • Maintain project files and track projects in the MSS online database. • Prepare monthly billing for assigned projects. • Perform other duties assigned by the Company.

🎯 Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years of experience OR 10+ years of experience combining commercial/industrial design and project management. • Experience with chilled water systems. • Experience with boilers. • Experience with domestic water systems. • Experience with package, VAV, and split systems. • Experience with exhaust and makeup air. • Professional Engineering license preferred. • Strong communication skills. • Strong technical writing skills. • Ability to interact with customers. • High energy level and professionalism. • Proficient with Microsoft Office products. • LEED Accreditation preferred. • CEM certification preferred. • Regular and supervisory probation period required, if applicable. • Random drug testing required. • Background investigation may be required; must successfully pass a background check. • Clean driving record required. • Charlotte, NC based or remote near a major airport; Phoenix, AZ or Salt Lake City, UT preferred. • 50% travel required.
