📋 Description
• Install fire sprinkler systems by reading blueprints and schematics, cutting, threading, and assembling pipes, valves, and sprinkler heads • Diagnose and repair existing sprinkler systems, including replacing damaged parts and performing emergency repairs • Follow company safety policies and OSHA requirements • Use appropriate tools and equipment safely in varied work environments • Travel to industrial and heavy commercial project sites
🎯 Requirements
• Experienced fire sprinkler fitter • Ability to read blueprints and schematics • Proficiency with hand and power tools • Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills • Physical stamina for lifting, climbing, and working in varied conditions • Strong attention to detail • Excellent communication and customer service skills • A valid driver's license may be required • Completion of an apprenticeship is often required • Backflow prevention device certification is frequently preferred
