• Co-lead strategic development of programs, projects, and events with the Director of Policy and Advocacy • Develop engaging programs with stakeholders and IPHN staff to achieve projected outcomes • Work with the IPHN advisory board and staff to advance IPHN’s strategic plan • Oversee development and refinement of programmatic initiatives, projects, and workflows • Engage IPHN partners in designing and delivering programs • Develop communication and partnership strategies and manage key partner relationships • Meet with national and global faith leaders, food systems stakeholders, and organizations • Cultivate relationships with higher-education leaders, congregations, organizations, scholars, funders, and programmatic partners • Ensure faith communities most impacted by issues are represented in policy issues IPHN advocates for • Serve on committees relevant to faith and public health • Act as a consulting liaison to partner organizations and maintain stakeholder relationships across regions, perspectives, and demographic groups • Facilitate discussions about public health and faith teachings with faith communities and the public • Coordinate educational webinars and write articles for IPHN’s blog, newsletter, and publications • Assist with event and logistics planning • Attend workshops, seminars, and conferences to obtain program ideas, resources, and collaboration opportunities • Participate in denominational activities supporting IPHN goals • Conduct research and monitor sector developments to enhance educational programs • Conduct outreach to potential funders and identify funding opportunities • Perform other responsibilities as needed
• Master of Public Health degree or equivalent • Relevant credential, e.g. Registered Dietitian • Ordination or profession in a particular religious tradition preferred • At least 8 years of management experience • Ability to learn and utilize Microsoft Office, Zoom, NationBuilder, and Asana • Experience presenting to faith-based audiences • Commitment to the health and well-being of the public and working with faith communities • Commitment to advancing the public’s health, ideally from a faith/spiritual perspective • Proven commitment to equity, inclusion, diversity, and anti-racism • Willingness to travel and conduct occasional work outside normal working hours, including weekends and after-hours events • Knowledge of and experience working with an extensive network of stakeholders across geographies, sectors, demographic groups, and perspectives • Experience with IPHN
