📋 Description

• Serve as a key liaison between market needs and solution delivery • Own and manage the product backlog end-to-end • Independently manage and prioritize backlog items based on impact • Write epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria • Use AI tools such as Claude, ChatPRD, and Rovo to create and refine backlog artifacts • Lead product release planning and set expectations for delivery of new functionality • Confirm executed stories comply with Neumo’s Definition of Done • Collaborate with engineering, marketing, sales, and customer support on product releases • Engage customers and stakeholders to gather and validate requirements and feedback • Work with senior leadership to inform product strategy and provide progress and milestone updates • Analyze market trends and competitive landscapes • Ensure products align with user needs, business goals, and technical capabilities • Facilitate sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and other agile ceremonies • Monitor and report product performance, quality, and usage metrics • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• 2+ years’ experience working in Agile methodology • Deep understanding of the phases of the Software Development Life Cycle • Preferably experience in a Product Owner or Business Analyst role • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience • Public sector or public sector software experience desired • Experience with tax administration, short-term rental, or revenue management solutions is a plus • Proficiency with JIRA, Azure DevOps, and Figma • Experience with AI productivity tools such as Claude, ChatPRD, or Copilot • Understanding and experience with technical solutions and components including APIs, Middleware, Services, and SQL • Ability to create epics, user stories, user journeys, wireframes, and basic diagrams • Strong written communication skills and client presence • Ability to translate effectively between technical and business audiences • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities • Ability to persuade, encourage, and motivate others to meet deadlines • Must be able to remain in a stationary position for most of the day • Constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery • Occasionally move about inside the office • Frequently communicate via telephone and video conference
