📋 Description

• Maintain data quality, reporting data pipelines, and business logic • Manage inconsistencies among data sources • Diagnose KPI changes and identify their drivers • Create clear analyses and recommendations • Ensure scalability, reliability, and efficiency of BI infrastructure • Perform deep-dive analytics for ad-hoc stakeholder requests • Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations about MyFitnessPal users • Architect data models and contribute to the reporting curated-zone architecture • Partner with Data Engineering to manage projects that unlock data for BI • Support marketing, product business analytics, and core business functions • Serve as an expert on MyFitnessPal KPI reporting and support self-service Tableau analytics

🎯 Requirements

• 4–6 years in a BI Engineering or Analytics Engineering role; equivalent technology industry experience in business intelligence, analytics, or data engineering will be considered • Advanced to Expert SQL • Proficiency with Tableau, Power BI, or Looker • Familiarity with Python or R for analytics • Experience building data warehouses and modeling data through ETL pipelines, such as Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery • Experience with project management and cross-functional stakeholder relationships • Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions • Curious, data-driven approach to investigating KPI changes • MS in an appropriate technology field such as Computer Science, Statistics, or Applied Math, or equivalent experience • Preferred: experience building AI-ready data models and semantic layers, including familiarity with data cataloging tools such as Secoda • Preferred: experience in consumer-facing subscription, direct-to-consumer mobile, or web product environments • Understanding of user acquisition, retention, and engagement metrics for consumer products
