📋 Description

• Lead data-driven alignment meetings across major business dependencies • Explain complex data narratives clearly to non-technical teams and senior stakeholders • Connect Snowflake and BigQuery with Claude, Gemini, and OpenAI through APIs and connectors • Automate routine data discovery, anomaly detection, and performance summaries • Develop and optimize Looker Explores and LookML dashboards • Build actionable reports for Editorial, Sales, and Finance • Analyze root causes and category-level trends when metrics decline • Implement validation, monitoring, and reconciliation frameworks across financial and commerce datasets • Partner with Editorial and SEO teams to optimize content monetization • Work with Product to enhance user conversion funnels • Champion practical AI use internally • Train and mentor the analytics team on generative AI tools, prompt engineering, and database connectors

🎯 Requirements

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or a highly consultative data role • Advanced SQL and daily experience querying Snowflake, BigQuery, or GCP • Advanced Excel skills, including modeling, pivots, and complex formulas • Experience building executive-level pitch decks in Google Slides or PowerPoint • Practical experience using AI to automate workflows • Experience setting up connectors, writing advanced prompts, and leveraging Claude or Gemini alongside SQL databases • Deep experience with modern BI platforms such as Looker, Tableau, or Power BI • Ability to design complex, user-friendly, and scalable dashboards • Exceptional communication and storytelling skills • Ability to translate complex data into clear, non-technical business terms • Confidence running meetings with senior stakeholders • Preferred: familiarity with e-commerce and site performance metrics including CVR, CTR, RPV, and traffic sourcing • Preferred: familiarity with affiliate marketing networks including Impact, Partnerize, Rakuten, CJ, and Amazon Associates • Required availability to work major shopping holidays, including Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and Prime Day • Ability to work EST hours
