📋 Description

• Monitor third-party insurance vendors to ensure insurance bills are paid promptly • Ensure adequate coverage is held on escrowed and non-escrowed properties • Ensure proper processing of force-placed insurance when borrowers fail to provide proof of coverage • Monitor Hazard and Flood insurance coverage requirements according to investor guidelines • Deposit insurance refunds and research pending items • Request and monitor approvals to pay insurance on loans with disbursement stops • Process customer insurance issues by phone or written correspondence • Assist with PMI/MIP payments when needed • Identify and send letters on loans that have become first-time vacancies • Request property inspections for loans pending claims • Maintain compliance with Loss Draft procedures for releasing held repair funds • File and monitor hazard insurance claims on foreclosure loans • Deposit insurance refunds and loss draft proceeds into the system of record • Ensure third-party vendors track loss draft claims and order inspections to release funds • Process and pay Optional Insurance Products • Perform other duties as assigned • Collaborate with clients, industry partners, and internal teams to maximize outcomes for homeowners

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required • 3+ years of experience in mortgage loan servicing/lending; insurance company, escrow department, accounts payable, accounting clerk, or similar experience may be acceptable • Ability to manage time and priorities wisely • Ability to grasp concepts quickly, make sound decisions, and resolve issues • Ability to work in a high-volume and time-sensitive environment • Ability to work independently with minimal direction and effectively meet deadlines • Ability to collaborate with peers in a team environment to attain common goals • Ability to communicate effectively in writing, in person, and by telephone • Ability to use Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality • Quiet, private place in the home for remote work • High-speed internet connection with minimum download speed of 25 Mbps and upload speed of 10 Mbps • Ability to attend work and be productive during normal business hours and work early, late, or weekend hours as needed • Overtime required as necessary
