• Design and implement onboarding, educational content, and training for newly hired and current staff and leaders • Develop educational content for essential clinical applications, job functions, and competencies • Teach in person and remotely using technology and professional presentation skills • Identify educational needs and design engaging courses explaining technical procedures and best practices • Develop and implement workflow training supporting standard clinical practices • Persuade and train physicians and staff to adopt new workflows and tools using change management knowledge • Map real-life nursing practices to informatics applications • Conduct annual IT skills gap analyses to evaluate coursework • Optimize clinical end-user workflows and clinical efficiencies using technical and process improvement tools • Promote integration between clinical areas and IT by translating business needs • Provide writing and documentation support for reporting and education requirements • Collaborate with IT, physicians, nurses, and ancillary departments on medication processes and clinical initiatives • Learn and implement new systems, applications, and software for clinical departments • Design technical workflow support guides using simple language • Conduct role-specific training on daily EMR tools and programs • Research and recommend learning tools • Apply educational methods to engage trainees • Evaluate the effectiveness of educational sessions • Maintain updated training curriculum and materials • Maintain knowledge of IT initiatives, hospital operations, associated technologies, and Health Information Exchange • Report safety-related incidents and monitor safe work practices • Provide job aids, electronic education tools, education, and documentation supporting solutions and workflows • Serve as a subject matter expert on call
• Associate's Degree or equivalent college level coursework — preferred or equivalent work experience • Minimum 3 years of direct work experience in an acute/ambulatory setting — required • Strong computer skills and knowledge of computers — required • Experience defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts, and drawing valid conclusions — required • Current, unrestricted Arizona RN license — preferred • LEAN Six Sigma training, Influencer Training, or Change Management Training — preferred • Additional clinical IT education and/or previous experience — preferred • Experience in healthcare information systems training — preferred • Previous education or presentation experience — preferred • Understanding of computers and competence using computers and basic software programs • Ability to comply with state and federal regulations, company policies, IT change management rules, and documentation requirements • Ability to maintain required certifications and/or licenses when applicable • Ability to participate in required training and safety programs
• Regular full-time position, 40 hours per week • Remote/telecommuting work arrangement • Eligibility to work remotely in listed states • Call required as a subject matter expert; physical response may not be necessary • Company-provided mandatory modules and required job-specific training
