📋 Description

• Service new and existing Essemtec systems across North America • Provide technical and application services on-site, remotely, and via hotline • Install, commission, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, upgrade, and retrofit systems • Support hardware and software products on-site and troubleshoot/error-analyze systems remotely • Demonstrate system capabilities and provide customer training • Analyze system operation • Manage inventory, trip planning, expenses, service reports, and related administrative tasks • Document field activities in CRM, ERP, or company applications • Maintain protocols, manuals, and the service knowledge base • Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve unique cases and provide product feedback • Conduct post-service follow-ups to maximize customer satisfaction • Escalate customer hurdles for action • Represent Essemtec professionally • Travel periodically to international headquarters for training and product/service orientation

🎯 Requirements

• 2-4 years of experience in electronics manufacturing, robotics, PCB assembly, or related technical fields • Associate's degree or related technical work experience of 2-4 years in field service • Ability to understand and interpret detailed documents, drawings, and specifications • Ability to work with test equipment and hand tools • Excellent customer service, problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills • Ability to work under pressure and time constraints and handle challenging and unexpected field situations • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) • Motivated, independent, solution-oriented, and organized way of working • Basic knowledge of OSHA and workplace safety • Willingness to travel nationally and internationally approximately 70%-80%
