📋 Description

• Lead the design, protocol development, and execution of prospective observational studies, registries, and retrospective database assessments across early cancer detection programs • Shape post-market evidence generation strategies by identifying clinical utility and implementation hurdles addressable through real-world data • Translate clinical and market requirements into study designs specifying target populations, clinical endpoints, and analytic frameworks • Identify and mitigate bias, confounding factors, and missing data variance in real-world healthcare datasets • Design protocols evaluating clinical utility across diverse populations • Partner with Clinical Science, Medical Affairs, Product Management, and Market Access to prioritize evidence initiatives • Collaborate with Biostatistics and Data Science on statistical analysis plans, data interpretation, and clinical contextualization • Extract evidence from commercial and Laboratory Developed Test cohorts to assess adoption variables, diagnostic compliance, and clinical workflows • Deliver real-world data assets addressing payer coverage barriers and product positioning through clinical utility metrics • Convert epidemiological findings into scientific narratives for internal governance and external healthcare stakeholders • Develop peer-reviewed abstracts, posters, presentations, and manuscripts for oncology and diagnostic conferences • Engage external clinical collaborators, investigators, and key opinion leaders to advance early cancer detection

🎯 Requirements

• Advanced degree (PhD, MPH, MS, PharmD, or equivalent scientific credential) in epidemiology, health outcomes research, biostatistics, or a highly quantitative field • 7+ years of experience leading real-world evidence generation, observational clinical research, or HEOR portfolios within the life sciences industry • Documented experience executing observational studies across the entire asset lifecycle, from initial protocol drafting through statistical analysis and publication • Deep data competency across longitudinal medical claims, electronic health records (EHR), and clinical registries • Direct experience in oncology clinical trials, molecular diagnostics, or early cancer detection programs is preferred • Rigorous analytical skills and ability to pressure-test study assumptions using data • Ability to communicate with technical precision across matrixed R&D, commercial, medical, and laboratory operations functions • Ability to balance scientific rigor, speed, and trial resource constraints under tight timelines • Comfort with ambiguity and evolving genomic science
