📋 Description

• Assist in testing patient samples according to standard operating procedures • Meet expected performance metrics within the role • Maintain updated knowledge of laboratory methods • Provide guidance for new team members • Follow good laboratory practices and maintain a clean, organized workspace • Complete training and deadlines on time • Recognize, escalate, and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and common processing errors • Recognize, document, and escalate laboratory protocol deviations • Communicate with the team and other departments via various platforms, including email • Provide feedback on daily schedules and tasks to the lead or supervisor • Assist teammates with daily tasks • Maintain equipment and instruments, including calibration and expiration-date checks • Maintain sufficient laboratory inventory of materials, supplies, and equipment • Participate in continuous improvement projects such as TAG and 5S • Handle protected health information in paper and electronic formats • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• BS/BA in biological science or a related field • 0–2 years of industry-related experience • Excellent interpersonal, communication, computer, and technical skills • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Word processing and data management skills • Ability to work well in a group • Must be able to discern color visually or evaluate cellular morphology when applicable • Must pass the applicable screening assessment • Must complete HIPAA/PHI privacy, general policies and procedures compliance, and security training within the first 30 days of hire • Must maintain current status on Natera training requirements • Must pass a post-offer criminal background check
