📋 Description

• Provide subject-matter expertise to the Signatera team by reviewing clinical pathology reports and clinical notes • Assist medical and customer service teams in interpreting oncology pathology reports and identifying optimal specimens for MRD testing • Curate clinical history, diagnoses, progress notes, and specimen information in the Signatera sample database • Devise strategies for retrieving and stratifying data from the Signatera sample database and other databases • Organize diagnostic data according to pertinent WHO guidelines • Serve as pathology-report subject matter expert to Laboratory Director, Genetic Counseling, Customer Experience, Sales, and Clinical Trial teams • Identify potentially suboptimal sample collection timepoints or fixative conditions and alert the Laboratory Director • Assist with identifying and procuring additional optimal samples • Provide accurate and organized data transfer support to the Clinical Trial team • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher with certification by the American Society of Clinical Pathology (ASCP), or equivalent board, required • Minimum of 10 years of experience in anatomic pathology • Extensive knowledge of solid tumor pathology • Ability to accurately understand and convey information in anatomic pathology reports for a wide variety of solid tumors, including lung, colon, and breast cancer • Ability to identify diagnostic samples that will ensure successful testing • Ability to communicate effectively with team members and referring pathology laboratories • Ability to build relationships with referring pathology laboratories • Detail-oriented • Ability to think broadly about the importance of clinical information and work independently
