📋 Description

• Work with designers, engineers, product managers, and lab operations to develop software solutions • Develop strategy and roadmap for development teams • Communicate with cross-functional stakeholders to gather backlog inputs and gain buy-in for prioritized deliverables • Transform business, market, and clinical requirements into executable product requirements • Own and prioritize the feature backlog in alignment with the strategic roadmap • Produce flow diagrams, data models, pros/cons analyses, prototypes, AI-assisted sandbox prototypes, and other illustrations • Define and measure success for the product area • Incorporate quality into product design and collaborate with development and software quality assurance teams on product and process improvements • Evangelize product work across the organization, drive integration, and ensure positive impact • Own the product roadmap and backlog with all technical requirements • Translate and document detailed use cases and software product requirements to drive prioritization and solution decisions

🎯 Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in software product management, ideally in the healthcare IT or biotech industry; genetic testing experience is a bonus • Experience with Agile software development, working directly with engineering development and QA teams • Strong communication, facilitation, presentation, relationship-building, and analytical skills • Experience building scalable enterprise software or business-critical systems • Willingness and confidence to experiment hands-on with AI tools to create quick proof-of-concept prototypes • BA/BS degree in a relevant technical, scientific, or quantitative discipline or relevant experience • Ability to understand and describe technical complexities in a simplified way for different audiences • Ability to break down large projects into granular milestones and track progress • AI fluency and judgment about when to act as a builder • Ability to collaborate, interact effectively, and influence across functional areas and team environments • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Customer research and survey skills • Demonstrated knowledge of products and markets, or ability to learn quickly
