📋 Description

• Deliver approved curricula and all aspects of teaching in accordance with the university's master syllabus • Recommend curriculum changes based on industry needs • Attend continuing education programs and seminars to maintain industry knowledge and skills • Work with program advisory committees as needed • Administer assessment instruments as requested by the assessment director or academic dean • Maintain accurate student attendance and academic records • Participate in faculty and in-service meetings • Participate in National American University functions, including graduations and honors ceremonies, as often as possible • Report to an Academic Dean or Associate Dean • Perform other duties as assigned • No travel required • No supervisory responsibilities

🎯 Requirements

• Earned doctorate in accounting; or • Earned doctorate plus a sufficient combination of specified accounting qualifications • Earned master's degree in accounting, where applicable • Completion of six graduate courses in accounting, where applicable • Active accounting license or certification, where applicable • Five years of professional and managerial experience in accounting, where applicable • Five years of scholarly activity in accounting, where applicable • Five years of documented post-secondary teaching experience in accounting, where applicable • ABD toward earning a doctorate in accounting, or ABD toward earning a doctorate plus a sufficient combination of specified qualifications • Management and leadership skills • Organizational and research skills • Strong interpersonal and communication skills • Strong clinical and professional skills • Ability to speak, hear, read, see, write, type, dial, reach, and bend • Ability to work daytime and evening hours
