📋 Description

• Coordinate with the Funding Manager, Funding Supervisor, Branch Manager, Rehabilitation Technology Supplier, and office support personnel to complete operational procedures according to company policy and expected time frames • Help secure payer authorization and gather information and documents for funding packages • Ensure documentation is complete to obtain quality authorizations for equipment and repairs • Act as account manager for assigned work orders by coordinating with funding areas and completing tasks through work queues and reports • Manage transaction cycle time from Ready to Submit to Final Funding Approval • Validate required documents for payer submission • Coordinate with funding teammates to secure missing documentation • Verify insurance coverage and benefits information • Request and obtain prior authorization, pre-determination, and denial notices as required • Conduct post-authorization quality assurance before logging authorization • Communicate with payers, branch personnel, clients, and others to secure authorization and collect information • Investigate deferrals and submit updates for payer documentation requirements • Share trends with Funding Leaders • Maintain communication with clients throughout the process when applicable • Follow up with payer sources according to work queue requirements, policy, and escalation procedures • Perform related duties assigned by the Funding Director, Manager, or Supervisor

🎯 Requirements

• 2 years’ experience in Complex Rehab Technology, Medical Billing, or Funding preferred • High school diploma or G.E.D. • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook • Professional manner with minimal supervision • Completion of all continuing education requirements, including assigned NSM University courses • Regular and predictable attendance • Ability to talk, hear, sit, use hands repetitively, and reach with hands and arms in an office environment
