📋 Description

• Execute design and implementation of creative and effective data solutions for Finance, Human Resources, and Conservation programs • Provide guidance and recommendations on the strategic use of integrated data • Serve as technical lead on analytics projects of varying scope and complexity • Act as a subject matter expert in relevant domains • Recommend improvements to strengthen end products • Advance the Conservancy's application of AI-enhanced analytics solutions to improve efficiency and scalability • Maintain and enhance a robust Power BI relational model of conservation program and financial data and metrics • Ensure accuracy and functional integrity for measuring conservation progress against goals and financial components • Investigate specific business questions • Build enterprise dashboards • Deliver self-service analytics resources that empower business users • Lead multi-disciplinary project teams • Design, document, and implement fit-for-purpose technical solutions • Partner with engineering teams to translate business outcomes into technical specifications

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline and 5 years’ experience in programming and systems design, or equivalent combination • Proficiency with SQL, Databricks (DB SQL), M, DAX or similar language and data manipulation concepts, such as table joins and cardinality • Experience building visualizations and dashboards with Microsoft Power BI, AWS Quick Sight, or similar BI tool • Experience leading multi-disciplinary project teams to design, document, and implement fit for purpose technical solutions • Experience communicating technical concepts to non-technical and leadership audiences • Experience soliciting business requirements and translating desired business outcomes into technical specifications for engineering partners • Experience with enterprise self-service paradigm, including data literacy enablement and data governance principles • Experience independently prioritizing multiple competing demands in a fast-paced environment • Excellent written and oral communication skills • Exceptional customer services skills • Experience analyzing complex system-wide technical specifications and interfaces • Experience troubleshooting and debugging data products • Experience producing effective user and technical documentation • Experience working with relational databases, data modeling, data warehousing, and data governance • Experience incorporating AI tools, such as machine-learning platforms, natural-language processing tools, or automation frameworks, into analytical workflows • Successful applicant must meet The Nature Conservancy's background screening requirements
