📋 Description

• Work on cross-functional teams to build scalable systems for government services • Design, implement, and deliver services used by millions of Americans • Develop end-to-end systems for a major government partner • Help modernize a legacy enterprise platform and improve public-facing processes and user experiences • Participate in strategy, planning, post-production testing, and support • Design, review, and build well-crafted software with Nava engineers • Collaborate with government partners and contractors to architect, implement, and deploy new and improved systems • Work in an agile manner to ship features that meet user needs • Write and maintain documentation for test plans, test cases, and test results • Monitor and analyze test results and report defects and performance issues • Ensure security best-practice compliance in testing activities • Participate in an on-call rotation to support production systems and investigate issues • Participate in hiring activities as needed, including referrals, interviews, and interview debriefs

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 8 years of testing experience • At least 5 years coding in JavaScript • Ability to develop testing strategy, define testing processes, introduce best practices, and advocate for test automation • Experience defining and executing test plans and test cases for complex enterprise applications • Strong skills tracking, reporting, and prioritizing defects using tools like Jira and GitHub Projects • Experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, JUnit, or other automation frameworks • Knowledge of performance testing tools • Experience leading regression, UAT, and E2E testing • Familiarity with security testing and data protection best practices • Highly resourceful, reliable, and detail-oriented • Ability to think strategically about trade-offs and short-term versus long-term benefits • Adaptive, empathetic, collaborative, and positive mindset • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Legal authorization to work in the United States • Ability to meet other requirements for applicable government contracts • Work authorization that does not require visa sponsorship now or in the future • May be subject to a government background check or security clearance, depending on the contract
