📋 Description

• Define OFCI equipment scope in collaboration with data center design, engineering, and construction teams. • Review and validate technical specifications, single-line diagrams, layouts, and equipment datasheets with data center design, engineering, and construction teams. • Ensure compliance with data center design criteria (Tier levels, redundancy, fault tolerance, uptime targets). • Manage technical clarifications, deviations, and vendor compliance matrices. • Issue RFQs/RFPs for critical data center infrastructure equipment. • Lead technical and commercial bid evaluations with engineering stakeholders. • Conduct vendor technical interviews and design alignment workshops. • Negotiate contracts covering performance guarantees, availability, FAT requirements, delivery milestones, and warranties. • Manage procurement and delivery of long-lead, mission-critical equipment, including electrical, mechanical, and control & monitoring systems. • Monitor vendor engineering, manufacturing, and testing schedules. • Develop logistics strategies for oversized and critical equipment. • Track long-lead items and procurement activities on the project critical path. • Ensure completeness and accuracy of as-built documentation, O&M manuals, and warranties.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study, (i.e. Construction Management, Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management, Project Management, etc.) or equivalent combination of experience and technical training. • 5+ years of experience in technical procurement or engineering for data centers or mission-critical facilities. • Proven experience procuring long-lead, high-reliability OFCI equipment. • Strong understanding of critical power and cooling systems. • Experience with FATs, commissioning, and contractor coordination.
