📋 Description

• Build and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and semantic models for internal and client-facing use • Develop maintainable DAX and Power Query optimized for performance and usability • Follow and document Power BI development practices, including workspace organization, refresh management, and performance patterns • Use AI tooling as the default starting point for report and model development, validating output against source data and business intent • Run production reporting processes, including ingesting data updates, monitoring Azure Data Factory pipelines and Databricks notebooks, validating outputs, and delivering reports on schedule • Build and maintain Azure Data Factory pipelines and adapt them when upstream data sources change • Manage source control and pull requests in Azure DevOps and prepare pipeline changes for production deployment • Design, maintain, and improve SQL tables, views, and datasets using BI best practices • Validate report and data accuracy, troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and recommend fixes • Document processes, runbooks, and data definitions • Complete moderately complex reporting and pipeline projects with general guidance and defined priorities • Participate in Agile/Scrum activities, including sprint planning, refinement, retrospectives, and peer reviews • Partner with Product and Account Management to translate reporting requirements into BI deliverables

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or related field, or equivalent experience • 4+ years of relevant experience in business intelligence or data engineering • Strong, current, hands-on Power BI development experience, including data modeling, DAX, Power Query, workspace and refresh management • Experience building and maintaining Azure Data Factory pipelines • Familiarity with Databricks, including running and maintaining notebooks and working in Repos • Strong SQL against relational databases, including query tuning • Working knowledge of BI data modeling principles, including dimensional modeling and star schema design • Experience with healthcare data, especially post-acute or long-term care and CMS public datasets, preferred • Experience with R or Python in a data pipeline or analytics context, preferred • Exposure to predictive modeling or machine learning workflows, preferred • Required software experience: Power BI (Desktop and Service), Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, SQL (SQL Server, Azure SQL, or similar), Azure DevOps or equivalent Git-based source control • R and Python nice to have
