📋 Description

• Identify and develop relationships with medical/scientific key opinion leaders and other healthcare providers • Develop and maintain scientific, clinical, and therapeutic expertise in Neurology • Engage healthcare providers in scientific exchange and disease-state education concerning current and emerging epilepsy therapies and Neurelis’ pipeline • Capture actionable field insights and provide periodic reports to MSL management and internal colleagues • Provide medical/scientific support and presentations to managed-care accounts and market-access organizations • Represent Neurelis at local, regional, and national meetings and conferences • Provide scientific, medical, and educational support to internal medical and cross-functional colleagues • Facilitate clinical studies and investigator-initiated studies as assigned • Lead or participate in special project teams • Adhere to company policies, procedures, compliance rules, and applicable regulations • Perform extensive daily driving, visit physician offices and medical buildings, and carry materials and samples weighing 10 to 20 pounds • Manage multiple and shifting priorities and communicate scientific data to broad audiences

🎯 Requirements

• Prior experience demonstrating success within an MSL role • Corporate experience in the CNS therapeutic area, particularly epilepsy, highly preferred • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Excellent project management and organizational skills • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment • Ability to communicate scientific and clinical information clearly and credibly • Strong leadership and organizational skills; demonstrated personnel management capabilities • Advanced science / clinical degree (Pharm D., Ph.D., M.D.) • MSL level: A minimum of 2-5 years’ experience in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry • Sr MSL level: A minimum of 5 years' experience with a minimum of 2+ years as an MSL with primary emphasis on field-based scientific exchange • Minimum 2+ years of clinical or therapeutic area experience • Knowledge of regional-specific healthcare systems and clinical practices related to patient care • Ability to travel up to 50% • Overnight travel required
