📋 Description

• Support implementation and maintenance of cybersecurity controls aligned with DoD/DoN guidelines, NIST frameworks, and organizational policies • Contribute to the development and execution of Zero Trust security strategies • Manage ATO compliance activities, including documentation, evidence gathering, and coordination with authorizing officials • Perform vulnerability management using AWS Security Hub, container scanning solutions, and other enterprise security platforms • Provide security expertise for containerized deployments and cloud environments • Lead or support FISMA-related audits and compliance efforts, including remediation of findings and continuous monitoring • Collaborate across teams to assess risks, recommend mitigations, and drive continuous security improvements • Travel up to 10% may be required

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience) • 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity analysis or engineering, with a focus on DoD/DoN environments • Strong understanding of DoD/DoN cybersecurity policies, including RMF, NIST SP 800-53, and Zero Trust principles • Hands-on experience with ATO compliance processes and security control implementation • Proficiency in vulnerability management using tools such as AWS Security Hub and container scanning technologies • Experience supporting FISMA audits and compliance activities • Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills • US Citizenship required • US Government Secret security clearance or ability to obtain clearance required • Excellent verbal and written communications skills • Experience working with the Navy Authorizing Official (NAO) and The Office of the Navy SCA • Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, Security+, or equivalent (Desired) • Experience with federal cybersecurity reporting tools and governance platforms (Desired) • Familiarity with modern DevSecOps environments and automated security tooling (Desired) • Experience supporting Navy or DoD cloud initiatives, including hybrid and multi-cloud deployments (Desired)
