📋 Description

• Test products and solutions across platform, functional, feature, solution, and regression testing • Perform manual testing and build or enhance test automation using scripting • Design and maintain testbeds • Qualify software releases and deliver on quality metrics • Collaborate with POC engineers on customer-specific testing efforts during proofs of concept • Collaborate with software, hardware, and support engineering teams to reproduce faults • Regularly update test scripts to prevent recurrence of bugs

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field • Minimum 5 years of relevant industry experience in test, QA, or solutions testing roles • Hands-on testing experience is required • Proficiency in networking technologies, network protocols, network designs, and deployments • Hands-on experience across diverse Network Operating Systems (NOS), such as IOS, IOS-XR, EOS, and Junos • Proficiency with well-known traffic generators and network test hardware and software solutions • Experience with SONiC or another open-source operating system is highly desirable • Ability to write effective test plans and debug and troubleshoot complex networking issues across hardware and software • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, programming languages such as C and C++, and automation tools such as Ansible is a plus • Familiarity with container technologies such as Docker and databases such as SQL and NoSQL is a plus
