📋 Description

• Serve as the first point of contact for incidents and service requests via phone, chat, email, and ticketing system • Provide remote Tier 1 technical support across multiple client environments • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, peripheral, workstation, operating system, and application issues • Support Windows and macOS platforms and Microsoft 365, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive • Perform Exchange diagnostics, message tracing, mailbox permissions management, and mail flow analysis • Support line-of-business applications, remote access tools, and collaboration platforms • Configure MFA, troubleshoot conditional access, and perform secure account recovery • Manage device enrollment, configuration, and compliance using Intune, Addigy, Jamf, or other RMM/MDM tools • Deploy policies, software packages, and configuration changes across client environments • Administer Active Directory and Entra ID, including permissions and access troubleshooting • Provide intermediate networking support for DNS, DHCP, VPN connectivity, and basic routing issues • Use RMM platforms to proactively identify and remediate issues • Manage multi-client ticket queues while meeting SLAs and response targets • Log, categorize, prioritize, and document incidents in PSA/ITSM platforms such as ConnectWise, Autotask, or ServiceNow • Troubleshoot issues through resolution or reassignment and escalate incidents to Tier 2 or Tier 3 teams • Investigate Entra ID sign-in logs, suspicious login activity, and account lockouts • Support antivirus, EDR, and email security tools and follow documented remediation procedures • Maintain client-specific compliance and data protection standards • Communicate technical findings and solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders • Provide timely issue updates, manage client expectations, and build reliable client relationships • Participate in recruiter, technical, lab assessment, and hiring manager interview stages

🎯 Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in a service desk or Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment • Strong working knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems • Experience supporting Microsoft 365 environments including Exchange Online administration • Hands-on experience with Intune and/or Apple device management tools such as Addigy or Jamf • Experience with Active Directory and Entra ID administration • Working knowledge of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN • Familiarity with RMM and PSA tools such as ConnectWise, Autotask, NinjaOne, or similar platforms • Exposure to endpoint security tools and email security platforms • One or all of the following certifications highly desirable: CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, Microsoft 365 Fundamentals (MS-900), Modern Desktop Administrator Associate (MD-102), Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900), ITIL Foundation, or vendor certifications related to firewall, security, or RMM platforms • Completion of the Culture Index survey is an application requirement • Three professional references, including at least one direct supervisor • Must be authorized to work in the United States; NexusTek participates in E-Verify for all US employees
