📋 Description

• Lead and grow a NinjaOne software development team • Build new features and maintain existing features for the NinjaOne IT Operations SaaS suite • Work with internal teams on the software product roadmap and delivery • Collaborate with product management and platform engineering teams • Own product technology, engineering growth and development, and successful product delivery • Provide full-stack software development technical expertise • Provide subject matter expertise in code reviews, integration, and deployment events • Lead technology direction and remain hands-on as needed • Lead and grow distributed remote UI and server development teams • Mentor team members and provide feedback • Ensure alignment across UI, mobile, server, and agent technical teams • Identify gaps and improvements in implementations and team operations • Collaborate with project managers, product owners, and business stakeholders • Develop valuable requirements and project vision • Follow NinjaOne software development best practices

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or another relevant technical engineering degree; equivalent relevant work experience will also be considered • 10+ years of cumulative software development experience in distributed client-server architectures, including hands-on software engineering experience • 3+ years of direct software engineering management experience • Expertise in software design and architecture, including CI/CD, modern web UI development, caching systems, key-value database systems, API development, and code quality best practices • Experience adhering to security best practices • Experience driving continuous code and system improvement through refactoring and critical thinking • Experience providing feedback on team members' design choices • Experience supervising, training, and mentoring engineering developers • Ability to lead and support a remote team • Must reside in an eligible U.S. state; NinjaOne is unable to hire within Chicago city limits
