📋 Description

• Support a Radar Site and Spectrum Relocation Analysis Support program for a federal client operating a nationwide NEXRAD weather-radar network • Develop, format, and edit formal program deliverables, including baseline, site reuse viability, frequency measurement, and conditional delineated area reports • Build and maintain standardized report and map/report templates and a program style guide • Translate spectrum, geospatial, site-survey, engineering, GIS, and data-analysis inputs into narratives for technical and non-technical stakeholders • Support production controls separating physical/geospatial findings from spectrum engineering conclusions and Government decisions • Document unresolved assumptions and limitations • Prepare program management documentation, including kickoff meeting minutes, quality control plan content, and status reporting inputs • Prepare deliverables in PDF and dashboard-export formats • Coordinate accessibility formatting and apply Section 508 considerations where applicable • Manage document version control, reviews, and quality checks to meet client acceptance standards • Handle spectrum and site information according to CUI requirements • Travel minimally and occasionally as needed

🎯 Requirements

• US Citizenship • Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Technical Writing, Journalism, or a related field (equivalent experience considered in lieu of degree) • 3+ years of technical writing experience • Experience preferably supporting federal government programs or technical/engineering content • Ability to produce clear, accurate, and well-structured technical reports and documentation from complex source material • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Adobe Acrobat/PDF production, including templates, styles, and document formatting • Strong editing, proofreading, and document quality-control skills • Experience developing and maintaining templates and style guides for consistent deliverables • Working knowledge of Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) handling requirements • Ability to travel occasionally (minimal) to support program activities as needed • Familiarity with Section 508 accessibility requirements for documents and map-heavy content • Experience documenting geospatial, GIS, RF/spectrum, radar, or telecommunications subject matter • Experience preparing federal deliverables under FFP/CLIN, milestone-driven contracts • Familiarity with SharePoint and Google Workspace • Prior experience supporting a federal agency with mission-critical infrastructure, radar, or spectrum programs
