📋 Description

• Manage and coordinate hotel functions with the General Manager to achieve profitable operations and high-quality guest services • Oversee guest relations, front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, finances, team building, and staff development • Manage assigned hotel staff and ensure budgeted revenues and profits are achieved • Interpret company policies and ensure compliance with safety programs, job safety analysis, Guarantee of Fair Treatment policy, and other requirements • Monitor staff training, improve efficiency, and ensure conformance with standard procedures • Lead, direct, motivate, coach, and counsel employees • Handle employee-related matters, paperwork, PANs, and training • Monitor and resolve guest-service trends and issues • Perform sales duties and activities • Conduct property inspections and ensure equipment complies with service standards • Act as primary vendor contact for supplies • Handle food and beverage services and functions • Define employee responsibilities, authorities, and accountability • Promote teamwork and employee morale; analyze and resolve work problems • Structure activities, improve operational efficiencies, make decisions, develop employees and shareholders, and solve business problems • Facilitate employment and development of local shareholders • Assist with moving luggage, packages, furniture, and other items • Drive and support the CARES program through staff huddles, monthly training, and videos • Perform other related managerial duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent • At least 4 years of management experience in hotels of a similar size and caliber • Minimum of 5 years of work experience in hotels • At least 2 years of direct Housekeeping Manager experience • At least 2 years of direct Front Desk Manager experience • Contract requires candidate to get a flu shot pre-hire and annually thereafter • Proficient computer aptitude, including advanced skillset in Microsoft Office programs • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for the past 3 years • Strong verbal and written communication skills • Ability to delegate responsibilities, organize complex projects, and establish priorities • Ability to occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds; may assist with items weighing up to 50 pounds • Ability to work indoors and outdoors, including occasional exposure to harsh weather conditions • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time as necessary • Preferred: 4-year college degree in a field compatible with general hotel operations • Preferred: Marketing background • Preferred: Experience in graphic design, PowerPoints, and video-based learning creation
