📋 Description

• Underwrite and review new merchant submissions, auto approved submissions, and graduated underwriting submissions for merchant credit card payment processing service • Make verbal and written recommendations to management consistent with NAB’s risk appetite • Provide all sales partners with a communication channel via phone support as well as an additional layer of review and discretion • Conduct financial analysis to provide detailed recommendations, discussion papers, and creative risk mitigation strategies • Help train and develop team members, and provide guidance to lower-level team members on a day to day basis • Regularly handle high risk/high volume accounts, and analyze a wide variety of applicants and business types in multiple credit card processing environments

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting (or equivalent work experience) • Minimum five (5) years of commercial underwriting experience or commercial risk mitigation experience in the bank card/merchant payment processing industry • 2 Years of financial analysis experience with writing assessments. • Must be comfortable and confident in handling a position of authority when making underwriting decisions • Ability to adapt priorities for peak periods to ensure consistency of service levels for sales partners and merchants • Ability to work a flexible work schedule in support of departmental needs.
