📋 Description

• Identify and analyze vulnerabilities across the payment processing platform, cloud environments, and internal infrastructure • Operate, maintain, and assist in configuring Wiz and Tenable scanning platforms across cloud assets, containers, data centers, network infrastructure, and endpoints • Build and maintain automated pipelines that ingest scanner, asset, and threat intelligence data via APIs • Automate reporting, ticketing, and other repeatable workflows • Analyze vulnerability data and develop data-driven models and scoring logic incorporating exploit likelihood, threat intelligence, asset criticality, exposure, business context, and payment industry risks • Reduce false positives through rules-based and statistical methods • Liaise with engineering, IT, and operations teams to contextualize security risks and prioritize remediation • Track remediation progress, analyze trends and remediation velocity, and communicate risk posture to leadership • Maintain dashboards, reports, and KPIs • Support PCI-DSS and other security audit and compliance efforts by providing vulnerability scanning and remediation evidence • Identify gaps in scanning, visibility, and security posture, create improvement plans, and measure the impact of changes

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience) • 3 years of hands-on experience in vulnerability management, data science, or security analytics • Direct experience operating enterprise scanning platforms, specifically Wiz and/or Tenable • Solid understanding of the vulnerability management lifecycle, CVEs, CVSS scoring, common attack vectors, and vulnerability exploitation • Working knowledge of AWS security, including VPC/network, S3, EC2, and container services • Exposure to enterprise scanner technologies and cloud security/exposure management tools • Ability to analyze large datasets using statistical methods and identify trends and anomalies • Proficiency in Python and SQL, including libraries such as pandas • Experience working with REST APIs • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Must be authorized to work in the United States; no sponsorship is available • Preferred: 5 years of relevant experience • Preferred: experience in fintech, payment processing, or highly regulated environments • Preferred: experience administering and maturing Wiz and/or Tenable • Preferred: understanding of Windows, Linux, AWS, Azure, GCP, and enterprise networking • Preferred: familiarity with PCI-DSS, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, and CIS Benchmarks • Preferred: machine learning or predictive modeling experience, such as scikit-learn • Preferred: experience with Power BI, Tableau, Grafana, data warehouses, or SIEM platforms • Preferred: experience with Jira and ticket automation • Preferred: PowerShell or Bash scripting experience
