📋 Description

• Operate, maintain, and assist in configuring Wiz and Tenable scanning platforms across cloud assets, containers, data centers, network infrastructure, and endpoints • Review vulnerability data, reduce false positives, and prioritize risks using business context, CVSS scores, threat intelligence, and payment industry risk factors • Liaise with engineering, IT, and operations teams to champion patching initiatives, explain technical risks, and follow up on overdue SLAs • Track remediation progress and communicate risk posture to leadership • Maintain dashboards, reports, and KPIs • Support PCI-DSS and other security audit and compliance efforts by providing evidence of regular vulnerability scanning and remediation • Refine vulnerability management processes, playbooks, and automated workflows to reduce exposure windows

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience) • 3 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity, IT, system administration, or risk management • Hands-on experience operating enterprise scanning platforms, specifically Wiz and Tenable • Solid understanding of the vulnerability management lifecycle, CVEs, CVSS scoring, common attack vectors, and vulnerability exploitation • Exposure to Tenable enterprise scanner technologies and Wiz cloud security/exposure management tools • Ability to analyze large vulnerability-scan datasets, identify trends, and produce actionable reporting • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Understanding of Windows and Linux operating systems, cloud security fundamentals (AWS, Azure, or GCP), and enterprise networking • No sponsorship available; must be eligible to work in the United States • Preferred: 5 years of relevant or hands-on experience • Preferred: experience in fintech, payment processing, or another highly regulated, fast-paced environment • Preferred: familiarity with PCI-DSS, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, and CIS Benchmarks • Preferred: experience with Jira • Preferred: basic scripting knowledge in Python, PowerShell, Bash, or API queries • CompTIA Security+, Network+, or eJPT certifications are a plus but not required
