📋 Description

• Manage a purchasing queue for Circuit Card Assemblies and Electronic Assemblies for key suppliers • Support proposal activity and active program requirements • Manage the purchase order process from RFQ and quote analysis through price justification, negotiations, purchase order placement, supplier delivery scheduling, and invoicing • Identify strategies to reduce cost, improve efficiency, and manage risk through negotiations • Negotiate terms and conditions, including Non-Disclosure Agreements, Subcontract Terms and Conditions, and Teaming Agreements • Manage subcontract performance and ensure compliance with public law, company policies, business procedures, and import/export regulations • Identify and close out subcontracts • Coordinate with program management, material program management, contracts, security, and legal departments • Evaluate and monitor supplier quality, reliability, and delivery capability with the quality organization • Assess supplier performance and employ sound business practices • Ensure appropriate documentation is provided and proper receipt is recorded • Manage and develop strategic/key suppliers • Support Northrop Grumman’s defense, technology, and engineering missions

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, supply chain, business, or related field and 8 years of related procurement experience; or master’s degree in these fields and 6 years of related procurement experience; or high school diploma and 12+ years of related procurement experience • Prior procurement/subcontracts experience • Knowledge of FAR/DFAR requirements • Eligible to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance • U.S. citizenship is a prerequisite • Preferred: demonstrated management/leadership abilities • Preferred: good organizational and communication skills • Preferred: proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite • Preferred: Costpoint, SAP, or other ERP purchasing system experience • Preferred: knowledge of multiple contract types, including T&M, cost reimbursable, and FFP • Preferred: experience with international/foreign procurements and policies • Willingness and ability to travel 10% of the time
