📋 Description

• Manage multiple locations for one large customer or multiple customer accounts with approximately $8M to $11M in operating revenue • Improve services provided to customers and develop and implement customer performance measurements • Assist with business development initiatives and new location startups • Lead, guide, train and direct Logistics Managers, Senior Logistics Managers and/or Group Logistics Managers • Hold profit and loss responsibility for assigned accounts • Identify and solve operational issues through continuous improvement and LEAN initiatives • Manage customer accounts to meet established metrics and performance expectations • Manage customer relationships and identify opportunities for business growth • Ensure financial objectives are met and grow revenue for assigned accounts • Supervise, develop and manage employee performance and maintain positive employee relations • Hire, train, supervise and coach or mentor direct reports and management teams • Maintain a proactive safety program consistent with company policy • Manage P&L statements and implement corrective actions as needed • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, supply chain, or an additional two (2) years of relevant work experience required • Six (6) years or more relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse, or industry-related field required • Five (5) years or more managing, leading and developing direct reports required • Four (4) years or more demonstrated experience developing and implementing complete logistics solutions and project management skills required • Two (2) years or more customer interaction required • Two (2) years or more managing customer KPIs required • Excellent problem-solving skills; formal Root Cause Countermeasure Systems preferred • Excellent oral and written communication skills with demonstrated leadership capabilities • Strong organization, analytical, and computer skills • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of warehouse operations/solutions, distribution, transportation and carrier management at a strategic level preferred • Advanced knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) preferred • Advanced knowledge of OSHA required; DOT and Hazmat knowledge based on the accounts required • Advanced knowledge of Lean principles, systems and tools required • Ability to create and maintain professional relationships across all organizational levels • Ability to create and develop an inclusive and engaged work environment • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team • Flexibility to operate and self-drive in a fast-paced environment • Multitasking, organization, time management, attention to detail and follow-up practices • Managing large multi-level teams, P&L responsibility, leading teams in a LEAN work environment, customer and senior-level management presentations, sales experience, and multi-client experience preferred • Willingness to travel 40–50%
