📋 Description
• Code procedures and enter charges in compliance with federal/state regulations and internal policies • Coordinate with the Practice Coordinator and Revenue Integrity to ensure necessary documentation supports selected procedure codes • Code cases as needed • Participate in audits to evaluate the accuracy of selected codes • Develop methodologies to improve identified coding issues
🎯 Requirements
• Must have a coding credential: RHIA, RHIT, CPC, CCS, or RN • Two (2) years of hospital and/or physician practice coding experience, or successful completion of the one-year Revenue Integrity Internship Program • Ability to comply with federal/state regulations and internal policies • Ability to ensure documentation supports selected procedure codes • Ability to participate in coding audits and develop methodologies to improve identified coding issues
