📋 Description

• Lead the Modeling & Rendering engineering team • Coach senior engineers, tailor support to individual strengths and goals, set expectations, and provide direct feedback • Structure and prioritize concurrent workstreams across implicit modeling, rendering, UI, execution kernel, and AI integration • Set operating processes, automate toil, improve decision-making, and lead adoption of AI-assisted development • Engage substantively with implicit math, GPU rendering, and kernel architecture • Partner with Product Management to turn roadmap into engineering plans and own day-to-day technical decisions • Lead rendering pipeline modernization • Deliver generative model creation through the notebook API • Shift engineering effort from the legacy desktop UI toward the new product while maintaining customer-facing quality • Manage a distributed team across US and European time zones

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years managing software engineers • Track record of coaching senior individuals to higher performance, setting clear expectations, and having direct conversations • Background in graphics, geometry, or a closely adjacent computational field • Ability to engage with implicit geometry, GPU rendering, and computational math • Fluency in C++, including reading, reasoning about, and reviewing code in a large, mature codebase • Rust experience is a strong plus • Track record of structured project management across many concurrent topics • Demonstrated adoption of AI-assisted development in a team led • Experience managing a distributed team across US and European time zones • Hands-on experience with GPU shader languages or modern graphics APIs and rendering pipeline modernization preferred • Experience carrying a desktop-native product to web browser or mobile surfaces preferred • Familiarity with CAD, CAE, or other engineering software and related workflows preferred • Experience integrating generative AI into a product preferred
