📋 Description

• Work with field management, team members, operations, and safety departments to promote safety ownership and identify improvement opportunities • Lead safety management activities, including emergency response plans, safety award programs, HAZMAT recertification, FDA programs, driver recertification, OSHA certification programs, and NUCO2 certification programs • Coordinate and conduct safety training for NUCO2 employees • Document, lead, and participate in accident investigations; perform root cause analysis and recommend preventive actions • Serve as primary contact for workers’ compensation and general liability insurance processes • Maintain a monthly KPI dashboard with trend analysis for the assigned district • Facilitate monthly Safety Committee meetings and facility inspections; document and post minutes and track action items to completion • Ensure post-accident drug screens are completed as required • Train and coach drivers on applicable tools, equipment, and safe driving practices • Schedule and conduct ride-alongs to evaluate driver knowledge, operating behaviors, and compliance with federal regulations • Conduct safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments; recommend corrective actions and monitor implementation • Maintain accurate safety records and reports and submit them to regulatory agencies as required

🎯 Requirements

• High School diploma required • Bachelor’s degree in Health Promotion or related field preferred • Minimum 5 years of operations management experience in a similar industry • Minimum 3 years of experience in CO2 beverage systems • First Aid/CPR certified • Commercial Driver’s License, minimum Class B, with HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements • Experience developing and delivering safety training • Ability to conduct accident/injury scene investigations and root cause analysis • Ability to perform onsite DOT, OSHA, and FDA inspections • Knowledge of EPA and hazardous waste spill reporting requirements and recovery procedures • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint • Ability to navigate custom databases and online document management software • Demonstrated safety performance with accident rate and recordable injury rate below 1.00 for 3 years
