📋 Description

• Perform thorough physical exams and patient observations • Record patients' medical histories, symptoms, and concerns accurately • Develop and update patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team • Order, administer, and interpret diagnostic tests to inform clinical decision-making • Monitor and operate medical equipment as required for patient care • Diagnose health issues and initiate appropriate treatment • Administer medications and implement treatment plans effectively • Observe and detect changes in patient health, adjusting care plans as necessary • Consult with other healthcare professionals and communicate with patients and their families • Educate patients and their families on managing and preventing illness and injury

🎯 Requirements

• Master’s degree in nursing from an accredited program • Active RN licensure in the state of employment or a compact party state • Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner by ANCC or AANP • Authorization to practice in family health, as per state Board of Nurse Examiners • Prescriptive authority in the state of employment • Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and ENPC certifications • Previous experience in providing primary care as a Family Nurse Practitioner • Proficiency with medical instruments and the ability to use medical technology efficiently • Familiarity with data management systems and electronic medical records (EMRs) • Comprehensive understanding of HIPAA, OSHA, and other relevant regulations • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills • Knowledge of disease prevention strategies and patient education
