• Develop and sustain technical knowledge in quantum workloads relevant to the federal research community, including circuit and device-level simulation, quantum error correction, hybrid quantum-classical algorithms, and QPU integration with HPC systems • Lead strategic collaborations with DOE national laboratories, NQIS Research Centers, NNSA sites, and federally funded quantum programs across DoD, IC, NIST, and NSF • Identify high-impact problems NVIDIA is uniquely positioned to solve • Partner with research teams and leadership computing facilities to embed NVIDIA's quantum stack into production research workflows • Conduct technical workshops, hackathons, and hands-on training at national labs, user facilities, and federal research venues • Represent NVIDIA at scientific and technical conferences • Monitor the federal quantum landscape for opportunities in quantum simulation, quantum error correction, AI applied to quantum computing, and quantum digital twins • Deliver insights to NVIDIA engineering and product groups to support product roadmaps • Engage senior technical leaders, including division directors, principal investigators, chief scientists, and program managers • Collaborate on QPU-GPU integration, real-time control, decoding latency, and the transition to fault tolerance
• Master's degree in physics, computer science, electrical engineering, applied mathematics, chemistry, or a related field, or equivalent experience • 8+ years of experience in quantum information science • 5+ years in the quantum computing industry, a national laboratory, or similar research institution • Technical expertise in quantum algorithms, quantum error correction, or quantum hardware and control systems • Hands-on background in scientific computing, high-performance computing, or GPU-accelerated software development • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking to technical audiences • Willingness to travel frequently, approximately 40%, to national laboratories, federal sites, and conferences across the United States • U.S. citizenship required • Security clearance required • Active TS/SCI or DOE Q clearance strongly preferred • Prior DOE national laboratory, NQIS Research Center, or federal institution experience is a plus • Familiarity with federal research funding, procurement, and collaboration mechanisms • Prior developer relations, technical evangelism, or solutions architecture experience in a research-facing role is advantageous • Experience with quantum control stacks, QPU calibration, or real-time systems is advantageous
