📋 Description

• Administer, maintain, and optimize Windows Server and Red Hat Enterprise Linux systems within Microsoft Azure environments • Monitor enterprise application infrastructure, including virtual machines, databases, web servers, application servers, and file servers • Perform software installation, system configuration, routine maintenance, patch management, upgrades, and troubleshooting • Monitor system health and performance metrics, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions • Conduct vulnerability remediation, apply security patches, and maintain compliance with DoD cybersecurity policies and STIGs • Support Microsoft Azure cloud administration, including virtual machine management, resource optimization, system monitoring, and infrastructure configuration • Coordinate with government technical teams to resolve infrastructure, networking, system configuration, and application performance issues • Support architecture assessments, infrastructure right-sizing, resource allocation, lifecycle management, and migration to modernized environments • Maintain SSL/TLS and government-issued security certificates • Support backup verification, disaster recovery planning, system restoration, and continuity of operations activities • Assist with migration of development and testing environments to government-approved Microsoft Azure environments • Use enterprise monitoring and troubleshooting tools to identify system issues, analyze logs, and support incident resolution • Support vulnerability assessments, security scans, and remediation activities • Maintain technical documentation, system configurations, operational procedures, and infrastructure records • Coordinate configuration management, change requests, and production deployments according to government procedures • Provide advanced technical support for escalated incidents, outages, and application infrastructure issues

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years of specialized application systems administration experience • At least four years of hands-on software installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting • CompTIA Security+ certification • Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) certification • DoD 8140 baseline certification • Experience administering enterprise application infrastructure in complex IT environments • Experience with Windows and Linux server administration • Experience with Microsoft Azure environments, networking, system configurations, and security controls • Experience performing vulnerability remediation, troubleshooting, patching, and performance optimization • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in a technical discipline • Active Secret security clearance • IT-I Critical Sensitive / Tier 5 investigation, with both security requirements satisfied at proposal submission
