📋 Description

• Process invoices and track incoming payments across fiat and cryptocurrency transactions • Reconcile payments across bank accounts, wallets, and exchanges • Monitor aging reports and follow up on outstanding balances • Partner with operations to ensure billing is accurate and timely • Process vendor invoices, manage approvals, and execute ACH, wire, and applicable crypto payments • Ensure invoices are properly coded, documented, and compliant with internal controls • Maintain vendor records and support 1099 reporting at year-end • Perform bank and crypto wallet reconciliations • Support and improve the month-end close process • Investigate and resolve discrepancies across systems, entities, and currencies • Clean up and organize historical accounting records • Document rebuilt and standardized AR/AP workflows • Identify process gaps or inconsistencies and develop solutions • Work across the Delaware C-Corp and Puerto Rico entity • Handle transactions in multiple currencies, including cryptocurrency • Maintain consistency and accuracy across both entities

🎯 Requirements

• 2–3+ years of hands-on accounting, bookkeeping, or finance experience • Practical experience managing accounts receivable and accounts payable, including invoicing, payment processing, and payment tracking • Hands-on experience performing bank and account reconciliations and investigating discrepancies • Solid understanding of accounting fundamentals, including debits, credits, journal entries, and AR/AP workflows • Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online or a comparable accounting system • Strong attention to detail and accuracy across multiple accounts and transactions • Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies independently, escalating issues when appropriate • Clear, proactive communication skills and ability to work effectively in a remote, distributed environment • Comfortable working in an environment where processes are still being built and improved • Preferred: experience in a startup, consulting, or professional services environment • Preferred: experience with multiple currencies and/or cryptocurrency transactions • Preferred: familiarity with digital assets, crypto wallets, or exchanges from an accounting or finance perspective • Preferred: experience supporting month-end or year-end close • Preferred: strong working knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets, including formulas and reconciliation workflows • Preferred: currently pursuing, or interested in pursuing, CPA certification • Preferred: bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
