• Define project scope and objectives; develop detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports • Take projects from original concept through final implementation • Conduct project meetings and project tracking/analysis • Coordinate with subcontractors, including equipment providers, engineers, and installers • Direct and supervise support resources for project assignments and activities • Prepare and maintain accountability for contract deliverables • Serve as the primary or assistant technical and management interface for the company, customer, and senior staff • Evaluate and determine changes in methods or procedures • Interface with end users, computer services, and client services • Manage technical teams and deployment of technical solutions and schedules • Manage vendor task integration and track and review vendor deliverables • Direct technical project design, implementation, and testing • Prepare and approve Standard Operating Procedures, protocols, and other project-specific technical documentation • Assist in technical leadership and direction of multidisciplinary staff • Apply project management best practices, processes, and tools • Participate in budgets, sales and marketing plans, and strategic tools • Drive initiatives for achieving established objectives • Provide administrative oversight, time accounting, financial tracking, cost projection, inventory management, personnel evaluation, and support • Ensure quality standards and review project deliverables • Estimate staffing needs, assign work, recommend candidates and termination actions, and conduct performance evaluations and salary reviews • Apply company policies • Travel up to 50% to customer sites and corporate locations as required • Acquire follow-on business and support new business development through proposals
• U.S. Citizenship • Current secret security clearance or eligibility to obtain a clearance • Valid driver's license • Current U.S. Passport • 12-15 years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree or 10-13 years of related experience with a master’s degree • 4 years (at a minimum) of overall experience working in a management capacity • Ability to work independently, demonstrating initiative and independent problem-solving skills • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Experience leading technical teams in development and integration projects • Experience working in a matrixed environment • Knowledge of, and work experience with the Government DoD programs in a Business or Project Management role and environment • Understanding of communications concepts and protocols including information assurance, network security, cellular technology, engineering design and adaptation, solutions integration, RF design, testing, and optimization • Availability to support travel requirements up to 50% for CONUS and OCONUS locations
