📋 Description

• Architect, design, and implement scalable, resilient infrastructure across compute, storage, networking, virtualization, and cloud platforms • Lead cloud migrations, infrastructure upgrades, network redesigns, and system modernization projects • Provide expert troubleshooting and performance optimization across complex, multi-site environments • Implement infrastructure hardening, patching processes, identity management frameworks, and zero-trust practices • Oversee disaster recovery and business continuity architecture, recovery objectives, and failover testing • Support Windows Server environments on-premises and in the cloud, including SQL Server • Develop automation workflows and infrastructure-as-code solutions using PowerShell, Python, Terraform, and similar tools • Evaluate new technologies and contribute to infrastructure recommendations and multi-year roadmaps • Maintain and rearchitect LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, firewall, and VPN infrastructure • Maintain and optimize VMware/Hyper-V virtualization platforms and Azure/AWS cloud services • Collaborate with cybersecurity and application teams on secure service delivery • Create system documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational runbooks • Provide technical leadership to junior engineers and establish engineering standards and best practices

🎯 Requirements

• Must be a US citizen • Bachelor's Degree in a related field • 12+ years of experience • Industry certifications • Secret level clearance preferred • 15+ years of experience preferred • Azure Solutions Architect, AWS, VMware VCP/VCAP, Palo Alto Cisco CCNP certifications preferred • Deep expertise in networking, firewall, and VPN technologies, including NetGate, PFSense, Ubiquity, Cisco, Palo Alto, and Sonic Wall • Deep expertise in Windows Server systems, virtualization, enterprise storage, and networking technologies • Advanced experience with cloud platforms, especially Azure, hybrid connectivity, identity services, and cloud governance • Advanced expertise in backup and disaster recovery, including VEEAM, AvePoint, and Zerto • Strong knowledge of security best practices, SIEM, endpoint management, and compliance frameworks • Demonstrated experience leading enterprise-level projects and cross-functional initiatives • Proficiency in automation, orchestration, and infrastructure-as-code tools • Ability to manage complex projects from design to delivery
