Their work combines policy advocacy, movement-building, and media to advance equitable phase-out policies and shift public finance toward a fair energy transition.

📋 Description

• Work with the Asia team and Fossil Free Japan partners to develop engaging Japanese and English content for social media channels • Produce Japanese social media posts for LinkedIn, X, Instagram, and Facebook, including written content and captions for infographics, photos, and occasional short-form videos • Amplify and adapt content from partner organisations • Meet regularly with Asia Team Campaigners to discuss upcoming content • Help maintain the Fossil Free Japan content calendar • Assist with website maintenance by uploading Japanese and English content • Review Japanese digital content translations for accuracy, tone, and cultural resonance • Participate constructively in relevant team and coalition meetings • Respond to administrative requests and submit invoices by established deadlines

🎯 Requirements

• Excellent or highly proficient written and verbal Japanese and good English language skills • Based within the UTC+07:00 to UTC+11:00 time range (Japan Standard Time ± 2 hours) • Excellent communications skills (written and verbal) • Excellent attention to detail • Ability to deliver projects in a timely manner • Alignment with OCI values • Experience working on Japanese social media campaigns (desirable) • Videography, video editing, or graphic design skills are nice to have, but not essential
