• Conduct comprehensive assessments of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder to evaluate behavior, skills, and needs • Develop individualized Behavior Intervention Plans based on assessment results • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to refine diagnostic and therapeutic approaches • Design and implement evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis interventions • Monitor and adjust treatment plans based on client progress and emerging needs • Apply ABA techniques to improve social, communication, academic, and daily living skills • Reduce maladaptive behaviors and promote positive behavior changes • Collect and analyze behavioral data to evaluate intervention effectiveness • Maintain detailed records and prepare progress reports • Educate and support parents and caregivers in implementing behavioral strategies at home • Work with speech therapists, occupational therapists, educators, and other professionals • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings • Supervise and mentor Registered Behavior Technicians and direct support staff • Conduct performance reviews and provide professional development opportunities • Engage with community resources and support networks • Ensure interventions comply with ethical guidelines, professional standards, and regulatory requirements • Stay current with behavior analysis and autism treatment research • Manage crisis situations using de-escalation techniques • Complete daily clinical documentation in SpringHealth’s EHR • Assist in developing staff training procedures and materials • Complete monthly and quarterly notes documenting client progress
• Must be a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in good standing with the BACB • Doctoral or Master’s Degree in Psychology, Counseling, or a related discipline • BCBA certification is required • Experience implementing Applied Behavior Analysis programming with behavioral intervention • Knowledge of age-appropriate activities and behaviors • Understanding of CPT codes, payer rules, regulations, and policies • Knowledge of research-based accepted treatment modalities and assessment • Ability to review and interpret highly technical information • Ability to write technical materials and speak persuasively to implement desired actions • Ability to analyze situations, define core issues, and draw conclusions • Must have reliable transportation • Ability to perform required physical tasks, including standing for extended periods, infrequent lifting up to 50 pounds, and frequent pushing, pulling, reaching, turning, twisting, bending, stooping, squatting, walking, and climbing • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, correspondence, and memos • Ability to write simple correspondence • Ability to present information effectively in one-on-one and small-group situations • Ability to apply common-sense understanding to detailed written or oral instructions • Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations • Ability to make independent decisions with good judgment and attention to detail • Ability to participate in and demonstrate knowledge of approved crisis management procedures • Ability to record and enter data accurately and objectively in accordance with Oakwood requirements
