📋 Description

• Localize, edit, and proofread marketing communications, including web content, in-store materials, direct mail, print, and other materials • Validate localized marketing copy for the market • Ensure consistency with approved translations, translation memory, and glossaries • Apply grammar, spelling, punctuation, and brand writing guidelines • Work across CMS, collaborative editing platforms, and task management systems • Follow structured workflows, checklists, and SOPs to ensure high-quality output • Participate in the selection process by signing an NDA if shortlisted, answering additional questions, and completing an unpaid assessment test • Potentially interview with the client’s Team Lead for the market

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in editing/proofreading, either agency or client side • Native speaker of Dutch • Strong awareness of cultural and linguistic nuances specific to the market • Proven experience in editing, proofreading, or localisation, ideally in marketing/advertising • Excellent command of grammar, spelling, and punctuation in Dutch • Must have competency with Mac programs • Ability to adapt and refine content to align with brand tone and guidelines • Strong attention to detail and consistently meets deadlines • Excellent time management and prioritisation skills, adapting quickly to shifting priorities and maintaining quality in fast-paced environments • Ability to work independently while collaborating with remote teams • Experience with systems such as CMSs and translation platforms • Comfortable in structured workflows with checklists, SOPs, and defined routing paths • Confident switching between multiple tools and platforms • Bachelor's/Master’s degree in a relevant field is ideally desired, not required
