• Perform detailed engineering tasks for industrial greenfield and brownfield facility modifications. • Design equipment access platforms, pipe supports, foundations, facility repair drawings, and new building structures. • Collaborate with process engineers, plant managers, owners, and contractors. • Prepare and manage project documentation timelines and deliverables. • Lead complex assignments requiring innovative techniques and continuous improvement of design procedures. • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams across Olsson. • Communicate regularly with project managers to report progress. • Supervise, lead, mentor, and/or support senior and junior staff. • Maintain accurate project and client records within the firm’s project management system. • Travel nationally as needed to verify site conditions or audit installations.
• Must be a registered professional engineer (PE) with at least six years of experience. • Structural Engineering (SE) license is preferred, but not required. • Experience developing detailed 3D models and construction documentation in Autodesk Revit. • Familiar with Navisworks, ACAD software, RISA 3D, EnerCalc, MS Excel, and Hilti/Dewalt design. • Knowledge of IBC, NFPA, OSHA, ASCE Guides for Petrochemical Facilities, PIP, ASME, NEC, etc.
