📋 Description

• Serve as the data governance representative within an Agile delivery team, ensuring governance standards are incorporated throughout the development lifecycle. • Partner with Data Engineers, Data Analysts, BI Engineers, QA Engineers, and business stakeholders to ensure data assets meet enterprise quality and governance standards. • Support metadata management, data stewardship, and business glossary initiatives using Collibra. • Ensure critical data elements, business definitions, lineage, and ownership are accurately documented and maintained. • Validate data quality, consistency, and governance before data is promoted for downstream reporting and analytics. • Assist with identifying data quality issues, governance risks, and compliance gaps while recommending appropriate remediation. • Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and cross-functional planning sessions.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Data Governance, Data Management, Metadata Management, or Data Stewardship. • Experience supporting Workers' Compensation systems, claims, or business operations. • Hands-on experience with Collibra for metadata management, business glossaries, data lineage, or governance workflows. • Strong understanding of enterprise data governance principles, data quality, metadata management, and stewardship. • Experience working within Agile/Scrum environments alongside cross-functional delivery teams. • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both business and technical stakeholders.
