📋 Description

• Maintain the accuracy and integrity of assigned balance sheet accounts by preparing timely reconciliations and resolving reconciling items • Prepare and record monthly journal entries, including accruals, prepaids, allocations, foreign currency (FX) gain/loss entries, and other adjusting entries • Evaluate and provide variance explanations for various line items on month-end and year-to-date financial statements as assigned • Provide support to the Accounting Manager and Controller during the year on various financial projects, inquiries, analysis and annual financial audit • Serve as Accounting Partner and advisor to managers of assigned departments and programs • Complete various assigned audit schedules, reports and yearend adjusting entries as assigned • Evaluate and approve payment requests for assigned departments and programs • Research and maintain current knowledge of GAAP requirements for accurate reporting of various issues • Create and streamline processes to improve accuracy and time management of current procedures • Manage special projects as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years progressive accounting experience • High proficiency in Microsoft Office skills, especially in Excel • Multi-currency accounting experience preferred • Accounting software experience required, Certinia experience preferred • Bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in accounting
