📋 Description

• Lead engineering execution, architecture, and operational delivery under the CPTO • Drive day-to-day software development, engineering operations, and delivery velocity across engineering teams • Translate strategic product roadmaps into predictable, high-quality engineering sprints and releases with Product Management and Program Management • Ensure engineering standards for agile development, release management, code quality, and cloud-native scalability • Set direction for platform evolution, AI integration, and client scalability with the CPTO and senior leadership • Monitor technology and regulatory trends across AI, data governance, and financial systems • Implement and scale coding agents, testing agents, and AI-assisted development tools • Establish metrics and observability dashboards for platform performance, CI/CD throughput, deployment frequency, and engineering velocity • Scale the SaaS architecture to support a growing client base and complex use cases • Ensure data governance, model transparency, and explainability across AI-driven products • Build and maintain a secure, scalable, high-performance platform • Partner with InfoSec on technical risk management, SOC 2 and GDPR compliance, and infrastructure reliability • Build, mentor, and scale Engineering and DevOps teams • Attract, hire, and retain technical talent • Cultivate technical excellence, accountability, and cross-functional collaboration • Collaborate with Implementation, Customer Success, and Go-to-Market teams on reliability, uptime, and client delivery standards • Engage enterprise clients and technical stakeholders on integration, architecture, and data management needs • Partner with the Head of AI on research, innovation, advanced AI capabilities, LLMOps, and agentic functionality

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive technical leadership experience, including 5+ years as a VP of Engineering, Director of Engineering, or equivalent in a financial technology or enterprise software company • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field required • Proven experience scaling an enterprise-grade technology stack, including cloud infrastructure, operations, DevOps, and CI/CD best practices • Deep understanding of data-intensive systems, machine learning operations (MLOps), and AI-driven agentic applications • Hands-on familiarity with Python, NodeJS, cloud-native containerized microservices (AWS/Azure/GCP), Kubernetes, and modern data pipelines • Experience designing and managing secure, compliant, and high-availability systems serving institutional clients • Proven success leading distributed teams and fostering engineering excellence in a high-growth, innovation-focused environment • Demonstrated ability to build and lead an AI-enabled engineering organization using AI-assisted development tools and workflows • Ability to think strategically and translate technology decisions into long-term business value • Ability to balance technical depth with executive communication and decision-making • Ability to collaborate across product, client, and commercial functions • Interest in applying AI and data science to transform legacy processes in capital markets • Commitment to scalability, reliability, engineering discipline, transparency, integrity, and responsible AI • Ability to translate complex concepts between technology, business, and customer stakeholders • Must be fluent in modern AI development workflows • Ability to build a fully AI-enabled engineering organization leveraging coding agents, testing agents, and AI-assisted development tools
