📋 Description
• Evaluating risk eligibility, pricing and structuring accounts • Managing renewals and driving profitable growth within a defined book of business • Actively introducing specialty products to new producer relationships, and legacy retail agencies • Using underwriting tools and historical reports to make sound underwriting decisions • Discussing quotes and coverage with the producing agent • Reviewing driver MVRs to determine eligibility, and client inspection reports • Providing oversight and mentorship to Underwriting Assistants
🎯 Requirements
• Home state Property & Casualty insurance license preferred • Proven insurance underwriting knowledge, with commercial auto and other package risks • Minimum of five years insurance account administration with commercial auto and package business experience, along with ancillary corresponding lines proficiency • Associate Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Risk Management, or related field • Extended years of insurance experience can partially substitute for lack of degree
