📋 Description

• Provide the client with white glove claims service throughout the claims process. • Maintain an active diary, transmittal of documentation, follow-up calls, and emails to the client and carrier. • Report and/or ensure that the claims are filed under the appropriate policy. • Review claim circumstances and applicable coverage, communicate preliminary coverage opinions to clients. • Acknowledge receipt of claims to clients in writing and request all documents necessary to move forward. • Maintain accurate claim files and documentation in accordance with department standards and procedures. • Handle to conclusion insurance claims presented by clients and/or as assigned by Claims Team Leader. • Assist clients in assembling and submitting their claims to the carrier. • Attend on-site loss inspections when necessary. • Field client questions and complaints, act as a mediator with the carrier when necessary. • Provide information for adjusters and other company personnel as requested. • Provide insured with interim and final settlement information.

🎯 Requirements

• 7 to 10 years of hands-on multi-line claims handling experience - brokerage experience preferred. • Advanced knowledge of Property & Casualty coverage and extensive knowledge of multi-line coverage. • Demonstrated proficiency in computer applications, especially Microsoft Office Suite products. • Ability to provide superior customer service. • Valid P&C Broker or Adjuster’s license.
